What we do

Cosmetic dentistry changes how your teeth look: their color, shape, size, or the gaps between them. The options here range from a one-visit bonding repair to whitening to a full set of porcelain veneers. We'll show you what each would change and what it costs, and help you pick the least you need for the result you want.

The options, from smallest to biggest

  • Whitening: lightens natural teeth. In-office ZOOM whitening can brighten teeth by several shades in one visit.
  • Bonding: tooth-colored resin sculpted onto a tooth to fix a chip, close a small gap, or even out a shape. Usually about an hour, one appointment.
  • Metal-free crowns: for a tooth that needs strength and a natural look at the same time.
  • Porcelain veneers: thin shells bonded to the front of teeth to change their color and shape together.

Start with a conversation, not a sales pitch

Tell us what bothers you when you look in the mirror. We'll look at your teeth and gums, check your bite, and tell you which options would actually address it. Sometimes whitening alone does it. Sometimes bonding one tooth fixes what you notice most. If veneers are the right call, we'll explain why.

Healthy comes first. If there's decay or gum disease, we treat that before cosmetic work so the results last.

Cost and insurance

Most dental plans don't cover purely cosmetic treatment. Some treatments, like a crown on a damaged tooth, may be partly covered because they also restore function. We'll tell you what applies, give you the price in writing, and talk through Sunbit and Cherry financing if you want to spread it out.

Questions

About cosmetic dentistry

Does cosmetic dentistry hurt?
Whitening and bonding usually need no numbing at all. Veneers and crowns involve shaping the tooth, which is done with the area numbed. Some sensitivity afterward is common and short-lived.
Will my teeth look fake?
They shouldn't. We shade bonding, crowns and veneers to look like natural teeth, and we'll talk through shape and color with you before anything is made.
Is cosmetic dentistry covered by insurance?
Usually not when it's purely for looks. If a treatment also repairs damage, part of it may be covered. We check and tell you before you decide.
