What we do

Invisalign straightens teeth with a series of clear, removable trays instead of brackets and wires. Each set moves your teeth a little, and you switch to the next set about every two weeks. It's for teens and adults with crowding, gaps, or bite problems who want treatment that's hard to notice and easy to live with.

What Invisalign can treat

Aligners handle more than people expect, including:

  • Crowded teeth
  • Gaps between teeth
  • Overbite and underbite
  • Crossbite
  • Open bite

How it works here

It starts with an exam and a digital scan of your teeth, no putty trays. From the scan you can see a preview of how your teeth are planned to move. Your aligners are made from that plan. You wear each set for about two weeks, taking them out only to eat, drink anything but water, and brush.

You'll come in every several weeks so we can check progress. The visits are short. At the end, a retainer keeps your teeth where they finished.

Aligners or braces?

Aligners are nearly invisible, you can eat whatever you like, and cleaning your teeth is easier. They only work if you wear them most of the day, so they suit people who'll stick with it. Traditional braces can be the better choice for some complex movements and for younger kids. Since we offer both, we'll tell you honestly which fits your case.

What it costs

The price depends on how much movement your teeth need. Many dental plans include a lifetime orthodontic benefit that can cover part of it, and Sunbit and Cherry let you spread the rest into monthly payments. You'll have the full number in writing before you start.

Questions

About Invisalign

How many hours a day do I wear them?
Most of the day and night. You take them out to eat, drink anything other than water, and brush. Skipping wear time slows treatment down.
Does Invisalign hurt?
Each new set feels snug for a day or two as your teeth start to move. Most people describe it as pressure, not pain.
Is Invisalign better than mail-order aligners?
With Invisalign here, a dentist examines your teeth and gums first, plans the movement, and checks progress in person. That supervision matters, because moving teeth that have gum or bite problems can cause damage.
Does insurance cover Invisalign?
Some plans include an orthodontic benefit that applies to Invisalign, often with a lifetime maximum. We check yours and show you what's expected to be covered.
