What we do
Orthodontics moves teeth into better positions for a healthier bite and a straighter smile. We offer traditional braces using the Straight-Wire technique, and Invisalign clear aligners, for children and adults. Braces are often the better tool for complex cases and younger patients.
What Straight-Wire braces are
Straight-Wire is a system of brackets that are each built for a specific tooth, so a single wire can guide every tooth into place efficiently. It's a well-established approach that gives the dentist precise control. You'll come in for regular adjustments while your teeth move.
Why braces are sometimes the better choice
Braces work around the clock and don't depend on remembering to wear trays. That makes them a strong choice for kids and teens, and for bigger movements like significant rotations or bite corrections. Because we offer both braces and Invisalign, our recommendation is based on your teeth, not on the one option we happen to sell.
Caring for teeth in braces
Brackets make brushing and flossing harder, so we'll show you how to clean around them and which foods to skip (sticky and very hard ones). Regular cleanings stay important during treatment. When the braces come off, a retainer holds the result.
